The history of STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG goes back more than 30 years. As a minor department, mechanical engineering was initially responsible mainly for repairing machines of
MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA. The department soon also began making components for other construction machinery manufacturers. In subsequent years, STREICHER’s core business expanded to include the production of chemical apparatuses and vacuum technology as well.
STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has been an independent subsidiary of the STREICHER Group since 1988. It has grown from a small company branch to a punchpacking service provider. In addition to the facility in Deggendorf, we also manufacture in Štěnovice near Plzeň, Czech Republic, where an additional plant was established in 1992. In 2004 STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG acquired a further facility, our present subsidiary in Freiberg, Saxony. In recent years all our locations expanded and new production halls were realised. The most recent example of this is the implementation of a clean room tent whose dimensions are unique. Components weighing up to 50 tons can be cleaned, assembled, tested and packaged in a clean room manner. Combined with the clean room capacities in Štěnovice, we have 1,407 m2 of clean room space with clean room classes up to ISO 5 at our disposal.
Today in Deggendorf, Pilsen and Freiberg altogether 540 people are employed.
Comprehensive and solid training is very important to us; This is how we lay the foundation for the qualification of our future employees.
Our corporate values – partnership, stability, quality and innovation – are reflected in every aspect of our work.
